Question by Matt: Recommendations for a Portable Power Generator for football game tailgate parties?
I’m looking for a portable power generator to run a TV and Direct TV at our tailgates. I’ve researched the Honda EU1000i, Coleman Powermate 1800, and Subaru 1000w generators. I think the Honda is the best but also much more money than I want to spend. I would like a generator that will not have to be filled constantly, not too loud, and will last a while. My budget is $ 300-$ 400. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is the Coleman a good piece of equipment? How loud is it? Thanks

By far the Honda is the best. Quiet and easy start. I have 3 Honda EU2000i’s in my business. Honda rocks.
Guess I should add… I have never used a Subaru. Coleman Powermate is just ok.
