I am Build a car audio system for SPL competitions and i need advice to build my setup in an 1990 civic with a walled off box
hears my equipment i already purchased
Amps
2 Soundstream DTR1.3400D maybe 2 more if i really need it
1 Soundstream DTR4.500 for highs
Door Speaker/Pods
12 Crunch CRSS6.5
Power
4 runs of 0 gauge 4 runs of 4/0 gauge wire coming soon
4 SHURiKEN SK-BT60 Battery’s
Now help choosing my subs here my the configurations im thinking of

8 10″ Dual 4 ohm PIONEER Champion PRO Series Sub woofer
or
4 12″ Dual 2 ohm ORION HCCA Series Competition Subwoofer
or
2 15″ Dual 2 ohm ORION HCCA Series Competition Subwoofer
or
2 18″ Dual 2 ohm KICKER Solo X 18 Competition Sub woofer

Please help me choose the sub woofer setup that will help me get the highest db with a ported box
and any other advice will be very much appreciated
cant go with 4 18′s its is a civic

How about 4-18s. Lol and You’ll probably wanna go with Focal, JL Audio, Fi, etc. Good luck and it looks good so far. Now you just gotta get the cash.

Question by Growth vs. Oil: Do you trust companies or should our government use power to make sure they use the safest equipment around?
Do you trust the companies to do the right thing? Would you want to tell the stockholders that you think they need to make less money becasue there is a newer safer product out there?

First I want to say I think its extremely thoughtful that you recognize that may seem unsympathetic. Honestly, I would have shown my sympathy with kindness and still went on with my daily duties. I’m thoughtless but not purposely.
But life does go on so maybe you should ask her family if it would be ok.

Question by zaleia: Should I buy or rent power tools?
I am doing some general renovation and maintenance to my new home, and I’m wondering if it is worth the investment to purchase power tools or if I should rent the equipment. I don’t generally do a lot of maintenance-type work, so I am leaning towards renting the tools. But I am living in a new city and I’m not sure what reputable equipment rental companies are out there.

I really don’t have any info for you on what reputable rental companies might be in your area either, not living there, but if it were me and I didn’t plan on doing much of this type of work in the future, needing these types of tools, I’d certainly rent rather than buy. I do a lot of home repair and improvement work in my business and still occasionally rent a tool that I don’t have big demand for on a regular basis, especially the more expensive ones. Our local rental place is called Grand Rental Station.
