Question by Sam: Ag Power Technology?
I’m enrolled in Ag Power Technology (farm equipment maintenance) and I was wondering if someone could give me a list of tools I would need. The college didn’t provide me with a list, but only said that I would need hand tools… Go here for more details –> http://www.lakeland.cc.il.us/models/aasagpwr.htm

I have turned a wrench or 2 in my time so basically to start i would get a standard and metric set of wrenches (from 4mm to15mm )(and a basic standard wrench set up to 1″ ) to start you may need other sizes bigger but that will come after they teach you the basics. You will need a good quality philips and regular screw driver. and a set of allen wrenches (the hex head type ) i doubt they will need torques bits but they could not hurt, I would like to add that if you plan to use this schooling to go into this field you may want to get a torque wrench , most repairs have spec’s that require you torque them. but I would not get one until you go to orentation and while there ask questions pertaining to what tools you may need and good luck . oh one more thing a good volt-meter is necessary to troubleshooting 12 and 24 volt systems they range in price from $ 20-$ 150 the 20 dollar model works fine for learning the more expencive models just have more “attachments” or different type of leads
