Any time you make something more expensive, you get less of it.

Make economic activity more expensive, you get less of it.

Energy makes everything we have… food, computers, entertainment… everything. Make it more expensive, and you’ll have less of it.

So, basically it will screw things up.

Lots of people WANT alternative energy, there just aren’t any that are yet practical. When there is practical alternative energy, I’m sure most of us will eagerly seek it out.

OK you should bye from Hitachi shop .but if you stay in MA , USA then there will be the one best option of buy from the shop which is in your town .so in future you can get the best as if any problem arise .

Even I know one online shop from MA .is one of the best as what I feel .

Question by Cade: Can someone tell me who’s fault this is? Any maintenance guys out there?
We live in a apartment complex where it is currently 45 degrees F and nearly snowing. The heat not longer works, it recently went out. It was powered by electricity. In the lease it says basically that they have to repair the (heat) if it is below 50 and it is considered an “emergency”.

The maintenance guy came out within a few hours of the problem (as required by the lease under these conditions) but after a while he stated that the issue was with the power company’s equipment. I’m guessing it is beyond his ability to farther investigate/repair? He also left us a portable electric heater to use until it got turned back on. He called the power company and they were supposed to come out but never did. He said for us to call back if they never showed up or something.

My and my friend are at odds. My friend claims this is on the apartment people, I however am thinking it is out of their hands and this is all on the electric company. The lease is not void if it isn’t their equipment right? Which one of us is right on this? Do these heaters take up a lot of energy? Would I be able to request reimbursement?
I’m in the USA. Yeah all the other electricity works fine. Only other problem is hot water is also off, along with the dryer.

If the problem is with the power companies equipment, it will not voild your lease. Portable heaters can use a lot of energy but if you just use it to keep the chill off it shouldn’t. No reimbursement.

I’m doing research on portable solar equipment, and there are a lot of companies out there that I’ve found. Anyone have any ideas as to what brands will hold up for long periods of hiking and driving? It would need to be able to power batteries for laptops, camcorders, and probably some smaller equipment like cell phones, iPods, etc.
